Control Box PSG MAX - The PSG-MAX is a completely different animal from the PSG-202. The operating characteristics have been optimized to produce a higher output and much shorter pulse duration than the PSG-202. This does NOT mean that the PSG-MAX is a better signal generator than the PSG-202. It is simply a DIFFERENT signal generator with a sharper output and is not meant to replace the PSG-202. Many people DO NOT LIKE the output characteristics of the MAX, complaining that the output is excessive and sharp. But many people buy the MAX especially for this characteristic.
